Meet PET at the Connect Central Oregon Volunteer and Board Fair

Stop out and say hello to members of our team and learn more about Pet Evacuation Team -Pet and how we help local communities and their pets during emergencies and crisis.
PET is always looking for volunteers on the team to assist with all things animal rescue related and is currently looking to fill Boardmember positions.

Terrebonne Seizure Case – January 2023
PET was asked by the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office to assist with a large-scale seizure case involving approximately 71 pigs and 16 goats. PET volunteers helped to round up and evacuate the animals.
Fire Response – August 2021
PET was deployed during the Grandview Fire near Sisters and the Darlene Fire outside of La Pine. The Deschutes County Fairgrounds evacuation site was set up by PET volunteers, who also provided around-the-clock care for 40 goats, 4 dogs, 9 horses, 5 cats, and 3 rabbits.
The Pet Evacuation Team is there when disaster strikes.
